Carillon Singers & Men About Town

The Carillon Singers and Men About Town invite you to Get Happy on Saturday, June 9th at Roadside Willies. Under the direction of Vivi Chediac and accompanied by Karen Crowley, the Carillon Singers offer soulful selections in their spring soiree to get you “Feelin’ Good”.  An ensemble of female musicians, the Carillons, have been performing in the Maritimes for 24 years and are delighted to offer a new variety of jazzy croons to concert-goers at Roadside Willies. Captain Sam and The Funk ArmadaSunday Night Jazz band leader, Paul "Croc" Barrett, will be at the last Nova Scotia Youth Jazz Orchestra rehearsal before leaving for the Romerias de Mayo Festival in Holguin, Cuba. Not to worry! Nick "Fishy" Fisher has put together a funk ensemble for your listening and dining pleasure. The lineup includes Kris Jones (Trumpet), Derek Jones (Trombone), Nick Fisher (Saxophones), Beth Terry (Vocals and Keyboard), Chris Terry (Vocals, Guitar), John MacLeod (Bass) and Sam Sipos (Drums).
